Day 23 (Rotorua/Napier/Masterton) - Tuesday 11th October 2016

Napier Public Library
Woot! I have added another two libraries to my worldwide library crawl.

Today was a long day of travelling as we journeyed from Rotorua to Masterton with a visit to Napier along the way.

Huka Falls
We had a short stop at the Huka Falls, which is a set of waterfalls on the Waikato River that drains Lake Taupo. More than 220,000 litres of water blasts by every second!

We then headed into Taupo itself where our tour guy informed us we could use the Superloos here for 50 cents. Alternatively, you could just use the free ones at the local library (see - libraries aren't just for borrowing books!). Taupo Public Library had a large range of Young Adult books there, but, alas, my friend's book wasn't on the shelves.

Art Deco at Napier
Napier is New Zealand's Art Deco capital and is a beautiful place to visit. Once again, there was a huge range of Young Adult books at the library, and my friend's book made the grade (I'm going to make this an ongoing quest in my worldwide library crawl now. Current tally: two out of five libraries had her book) - hoorah!
