Day 25 (Wellington/Picton/Blenheim) - Thursday 13th October 2016

Me and my pal
Since I had the chance to go on an optional trip to Peter Jackson's Weta Workshop whilst in Wellington (bit of a tongue-twisted that!), I wasn't going to pass on this opportunity. I saw many props from different movies and learned about some of the filmmaking processes involved in creating them.

Before our tour group caught the afternoon Interislander ferry to the south island, there was time for a visit to Te Papa, New Zealand's National Museum, as well as a quick stop at the Cable Car Museum.

I'm currently aboard the Interislander ferry on the way to Picton and Blenheim, and my travel sickness tablets are working so far - phew! (In case they don't later, I'm within easy reach of the sick bags. 😉) Yesterday, our tour guy told us they were expecting moderate weather conditions, but they've been downgraded to 'calm' now - double phew! (Let's face it, if I'm updating my blog on my Kindle whilst the ferry is in motion, the journey isn't going to be too bad.)
